Conversis acquires Zebra Translations

October 4, 2021 | News

Conversis, the life sciences translation company, has announced its acquisition of Zebra Translations on 30th September 2021.

Since 2003 Conversis has built a deep understanding of clinical trial translations, which complements Zebra’s 22 years of experience in regulatory and drug safety translations.

Conversis CEO Craig Harrison said “We are really excited to be working with Jill and Lisa, from our first meeting it became clear there were strong synergies between our two businesses and what an excellent job they had both done in developing Zebra’s reputation since their inception in 1999. Our common approach to quality, customer satisfaction and teamwork will continue to ensure we can collectively deliver global market-leading linguistic services to all our existing and new customers.”

Zebra founders, Jill Wright and Lisa Kelly said “Over the years, we’ve been approached by other language service providers with a view to purchase but only felt engaged, comfortable and confident with Conversis, which was apparent from the very first meeting. Conversis shares the same values and ethics as Zebra and we know that they are committed to looking after Zebra clients and suppliers. This is a very exciting time for Zebra and Conversis and will provide positive opportunities and enhanced capabilities by combining our joint strengths and expertise.”
