Macmillan Cancer Support exists to help people with cancer live life as fully as possible. We're proud to offer our support.
When people put the words “drinking” and “October” in the same sentence you might expect a reference to a German beer festival. For Conversis Vendor Manager Gina Gulotta, though, this month is no Oktoberfest. It’s a self-imposed 31-day alcohol ban.
Why? Macmillan Cancer Support exists to help people with cancer live life as fully as possible. This admirable charity provides physical, financial and emotional support for those who need it most, and it costs a great deal of money. Macmillan spends approximately £200 million per annum on support services for cancer sufferers and relies on the generosity of donors to keep these services running.

Gina’s Go Sober for October pledge is raising money towards the following goals:
£29 pays for a Macmillan nurse to work for an hour
£221 pays for a Macmillan nurse to work for a day
