Gary Muddyman Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Gary founded the Company in 2003 having previously spent 16 years at HSBC Asset Finance. He is an advisor to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Modern Languages and has previously been Chair of GALA as well as sitting on the advisory Boards of both The Rosetta Foundation and Translators without Borders.

Jon Larbey Finance Director

Jon has worked for Ruxley Holdings, Conversis’ parent company for 21 years prior to becoming Finance Director here at Conversis in 2015.

Ian Barrow Head of Technology

Ian leads a team of engineers and developers to provide progressive technology-based solutions for each localisation project. Nineteen years of industry experience make him an expert in workflow automation, localisation engineering, and testing protocols.

María López García Senior Project Manager

María holds a Master’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting and has over 9 years of experience in the translation and localisation industry having worked in a variety of sectors including marketing, patient recruitment and creative translation. María is responsible for keeping the Conversis team in shape with her Get Active Campaigns!

Gina Gulotta Vendor Manager

Gina has been working in the translation industry for over 15 years and has experience in a variety of roles as Translator, Proof reader, Project Manager and Resource Manager. She currently works as our Vendor Manager recruiting translation and localisation experts for the life sciences and commercial teams. 

Simon Halls Marketing Manager

Simon joined Conversis in July 2017 having previously spent seven years working for a social business managing office space for charities and voluntary groups. He manages all marketing, branding and communications for the company including all printed material and the corporate website. 

Cassie Mill Senior Project Manager

Cassie studied French and German at University before spending 5 years at a large translation company in a variety of different roles. Having joined a smaller company as project manager in the interim, she joined Conversis in 2016.

 

Thomas Moire Senior Project Manager

Thomas has an MA in Translation and joined Conversis back in 2013.  Having initially worked as an intern he is now one of our Senior Project Managers.

 

 

Emma Nelson Operations Manager

Emma has been with Conversis for over six years, having previously worked in Project Management at another translation company for several years. Emma is currently Operations Manager at Conversis. 

Nico Rubio Digital Publishing Manager

Nico has been working in the printing, graphic arts, design and digital publishing industry for 35 years, 14 of them in Conversis. His experience, enthusiasm and know-how with a focus on quality and detail have been key in the success of the Conversis digital publishing team.

Kim Shouler Client Director

Kim has a Master’s degree in Translation Studies and 12 years' experience in the translation industry, in particular within the life sciences sector. She oversees Conversis’ sales and business development activities.

Charlotte Terry Client Relationship Manager

Charlotte has worked in the translation industry and the life sciences sector for over 15 years working across Business Development and Operations roles. Charlotte works closely with our project management to ensure processes are effective, while monitoring quality and performance.

Sally Wakelin Operations Manager

Sally has more than 12 years’ experience in a number of roles within the translation industry. She has worked as a Translator, Reviewer, Project Coordinator and Project Manager and is currently Operations Manager here at Conversis, managing our growing team of Project Managers.
