Localisation

[ləʊk(ə)laɪˈzeɪʃ(ə)n]

To gather, collect, or adapt content for a specific market.

Localisation

Localisation takes translation one step further by creating culturally appropriate content, ensuring that the message conveys the tone of the source material while taking potential cultural and regional differences into account.

With both Translation and Localisation, the objective is to eliminate or minimise local sensitivities and provide a product that is appropriate for the end market. We do this by utilising our first-class project management team, and our talented and professional linguists and translators.

Localisation may include adapting graphics to target markets, modifying content layout to fit the translated text, converting to local currencies, using proper formats for dates, addresses and telephone numbers, addressing local regulations and more.

Ultimately, the goal is to eliminate or minimise local sensitivities and provide a product with the look and feel of having been created for that market.

All work is ISO certified and is thoroughly checked in keeping with our usual high standards. For more information please contact us, or take a look at some of the positive comments we have received from our existing clients.
