Careers at Conversis

Conversis was founded in 2003 and has since gained a reputation as a provider of class leading translation support, and as a great place to work.

Our staff come from all over the world and create a fun, interesting and supportive culture, working closely with one another to ensure we continue to deliver high quality work to our clients. 

There are regular social events, staff benefits and plenty of cake and coffee and we try and encourage all staff to be vocal with new ideas to make our working environment better still.

All roles listed opposite are based in one of our two locations - our head office in a beautiful barn conversion in the Oxfordshire countryside in the UK, and our new office in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA.  Both offices offer a relaxing and quiet working environment within easy reach of major towns and facilities.

Project Manager - Chesterton, Oxfordshire, UK

Job title: Project Manager

Purpose: To manage translation and localisation projects cost effectively, efficiently and to the highest quality standards 

Reports to: Operations Manager(s)

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience + benefits

Location: Chesterton, Bicester, UK

This role forms an important part of the wider Operations Team and involves the effective co-ordination of in-house and external suppliers as well as technological resources.

The role is a key part of the Operations Team working consistently with the aims and values outlined in our Vision and Mission statements. The jobholder will use the resources at their disposal to complete the project or task to the mutual benefit of Conversis and the client. It is vital that the jobholder closely manages each project or task, ensuring that client deadlines are met, quality and customer service standards are upheld and that budgets are adhered to.

Project Coordinator - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

Job title: Project Coordinator

Purpose: To provide full support to the Project Managers and help to ensure the smooth running of all operations

Reports to: Senior Project Manager

Salary:  $35,000 - $45,000, depending on experience

Location: Research Triangle Park, North Carolina

Benefits: To include healthcare, pension scheme and paid vacation time

This role will be one of the first positions at our new offices which are opening to ensure we are geographically closer to some of our larger clients, many of which are based in the United States. 

Our new office will be situated in the Research Triangle Park in Raleigh, North Carolina and we are planning to open in April/May 2018. While some of our UK staff will be moving to the office initially, we would like to recruit local staff for a number of additional positions to help us set up the office and grow further. 

These roles will offer the successful applicants a fantastic opportunity to make their mark, take on additional responsibilities, and progress their careers, while also helping the company during what will be an incredibly exciting period.  

Our CEO, Gary Muddyman, will be based at the new offices initially, and full support will also be made available from staff in the UK but we are looking to recruit proactive and ambitious staff, who are interested in taking on an exciting challenge!

Quality Assurance Executive - Chesterton, Oxfordshire, UK

Job title: Quality Assurance Executive

Purpose: To oversee the quality and training process at Conversis and to ensure all Quality Assurance Certifications are maintained.

Reports to: Client Relationship Manager

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience + benefits

Location: Chesterton, Bicester, UK

Deadline: Tuesday, July 3rd 2018 at 12pm

The quality of Conversis’ output and processes is vital to the Company’s success. The Training and Quality Assurance Leader will be intergral to this success, and will monitor both the quality of our services and our adherence to wider procedures. 

Working with the Client Relationship Manager, they will ensure that we adopt a strategy of continuous improvement in the areas important to our clients – price, speed and quality.
