Conversis supported Fruugo’s team in keeping up with high translation quality standards using a multitude of technical file types.


What we did

Fruugo is currently available to shoppers in 23 countries: UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Russia. These will soon increase to 33 which will also include China, Japan, India and UAE.

As an international online retailer, Fruugo understands the market needs and provides localised content, currency and payment methods for each market they are present in.

As their localisation partner, Conversis has supported Fruugo’s technical team in keeping up with high translation quality standards, tracking and adjusting inconsistencies such as:

The files provided by Fruugo were in many different formats including html, xml, etc. Following our quality assessment, we either modified strings of code or offered support on how to change complex sections. Along with our technical support, our project managers carried out various translation projects including legal, technical and marketing translations. We also translated their B2B website into German (as below), and other languages are soon to follow.
