The Conversis Medical team are delighted to be representing the company at the annual Drug Information Association (DIA) conference in Paris this week. As they describe themselves on their website, DIA is an independent, nonprofit organization with their global center located in Washington, DC, US; and regional offices covering the Americas; Europe, Middle East and Africa; and Asia (China, Japan and India). DIA Euromeeting 2015 is their annual Europe-based conference, and an excellent opportunity for companies within the healthcare industry to connect with each other. We are all set up on stall 2. CO5 so if you're here then come and say hello!
The DIA EuroMeeting 2015 is unique in presenting a microcosm of the entire drug development process ranging from the policy environment to market uptake and regulation. It attracts attendees & exhibtors from all stages of the value chain, ranging from those conducting original R&D to the patients benefiting from innovation. In an intense and stimulating three days, you will not only learn, you will be exposed to fresh thinking and the latest ideas. You will meet not only people you know, but also those that you want to know and those that you should know. (Taken directly from the conference brochure on diahome.org)
It's really important for the Conversis Medical team to take part in events like these, as part of our continued dedication to specialisation in our field, to keep our fingers on the pulse of the drug development world, and to make connections with valued partners. An update from the team this morning:
"Good start to the 3-day conference. There is a wide selection of exhibiting companies, from CROs to technology solution providers and, of course, translation and localisation providers! After a good afternoon talking to delegates (and fellow exhibitors) at the Conversis Medical stand, we joined around 500 attendees at the welcome reception. An eclectic offering of food was enjoyed, the odd glass of vin rouge and we contributed to the installation art of 'DIA' with a global 'togetherness' message on the middle 'I'. A grand start to the conference." - Dr Mark Hooper, Conversis Medical, Booth 2. CO5
We very much look forward to attending DIA 2015 51st Annual Meeting in Washington, USA later on this year and building on the partnerships we have made at the European conference this week.
