Project Manager Localisation Sales Support Project Co-ordinator
Project Manager This role is a key position in our company and involves managing project teams as well as contributing to designing and implementing processes for the successful delivery of high-quality localisation projects and to ensure client retention, satisfaction and ultimately repeat revenue growth.

Job Description:
  All aspects of Project Management including:
  • Co-ordination of human and technical resources to achieve the successful completion of projects and jobs
  • Achieving agreed deadlines
  • Effective use of Translation Memory, Localisation and Database tools, as well as DTP packages
  • Agreement to and production of project plans where appropriate
  • Quality Control of Project output
Desired Skills and Experience:
 
  • Client facing experience and strong communication skills are essential
  • Excellent process/project/people management skills
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Technically able with an interest in learning new tools and technologies
  • Self motivated & flexible, able to work in a variety of roles in a rapidly changing environment
  • Solution focused with the ability to plan ahead

  • Knowledge of a foreign language an advantage

Localisation Sales Support
Purpose:
 
To create sales opportunities for Executive sales team through telesales and email campaigns. To support the client conversion and sales process, especially of new clients, through the formulation of attractive, meaningful proposals that can be realised by operations and produce acceptable margins for Conversis.

The role is part of the Business Development Team.

Nature of Role:

The jobholder will support Conversis front line sales and conversion activity. They will identify prospects and contact names/details and contact by email and telephone. The objective will be to create qualified leads for follow up by the appropriate directors. The job holder will also manage their own portfolio of telephone based prospects. Conversis has a series of marketing plans and undertakes a series of programmes for turning suspects into prospects. The business maintains a pipeline of suitable prospects with whom we wish to do business. The jobholder is responsible for converting these prospects to clients by building relationships, identifying needs and submitting new business proposals. The role places the jobholder as the key interface between Prospects and the Conversis Production Team. The jobholder will work closely with the Managing Director and Marketing Manager to ensure Conversis proposition and campaigns are in line with market opportunities. Liaison with the production team is vital to ensure that margins are maintained and project plans achievable.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
 
  • Research sales opportunities suitable for Conversis
  • To adhere to processes and effectively input data into and maintain CRM systems
  • To evaluate client requirements and liaise with production team to ensure that proposals can be aligned with operational processes
  • To produce quotes for all new enquiries
  • To follow up enquiries and quotes and maintain contact with prospects - relationship development & management
  • General sales support administration tasks
  • To ensure company margins are protected
  • To execute business development plans
  • To achieve income and profit targets
  • To operate within departmental budgets and margin expectations

Experience and Skills:
 
  • Previous telesales experience preferred
  • Highly articulate
  • Good people and influencing skills
  • Good general business background
  • Good presentation and people skills
  • Good written communication skills
  • Highly organised and Numerate
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Good technology skills, with a knowledge of CAT skills a distinct advantage
  • Languages and/or translation experience are an advantage

  • Provide office support
  • Assist in the maintenance of an effective database of translation professionals, ensuring that we can supply when required the correct breadth of languages, experience, cost and expertise
  • Co-ordination of human and technical resources to achieve the successful completion of projects and jobs
  • Liaising with customers
  • Achieving agreed deadlines
  • Effective use of Localisation tools, as well as DTP packages
Desired Skills and Experience:
 
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, with strong numeric and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated, with demonstrated problem solving & organisational skills
  • Candidates must be flexible and adaptable enough to be able to work in a variety of roles in a rapidly changing environment
  • Numerate
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Good general business background
  • Knowledge of a foreign language an advantage
